The Scoop on the Apple iPhone Press Conference

By now, every techie has heard about the Apple iPhone press conference planned for today, October 4th, 2011, at 1 PM EST, 10 AM PST.

We’re all waiting to find out what the conference’s announcements will be: whether there are plans to only unveil the specs and release date of the iPhone 5 or it will be accompanied by details on the rumored iPhone 4S.

The world also awaits a presentation from Apple’s new CEO, Tim Cook, who replaced Steve Jobs after his retirement in August. This conference will be his first Apple iPhone event as CEO.

Here at eCollegeFinder, we’re hoping the new models’ specifications include a slimmer, rounded design, a bigger screen, a higher resolution camera, a faster processor, more RAM, and 4G coverage… all at an affordable price (is that too much to ask?) And, of course, we’re very excited for the integration of the new iOS 5 and iCloud!

Engadget, a site we recently awarded one of the Top 50 Technology Blogs on the web, will be broadcasting live coverage of the event. Check out DVICE, MacWorld, T3.com, and our other winners for additional coverage!

If you’d like to keep up with the latest news, we also suggest turning to twitter: check out the hashtag feed (#iphone, #apple, #iOS, #iphone5) on the event.

Aw, many got annoyed about the release of iPhone 4S instead of iOS 5. It seems that they don’t have a little bit more patience. The iPhone 4S added features is only the Siri – Speech recognition, but the screen display and big toolbar icon are still the same.
